The movie "The Bucket list" is a very touching movie because it makes you reflect upon the value of life and living it by your own terms.
Its a hilarious movie in which two terminal patients (Carter Chambers and Edward Cole) met each other on a hospital room.
Edward Cole was the owner of the hospital and Carter was a mechanic.
They became friends and they made a bucket list which was a series of things that they would like to do before they die.
I identify myself with Edward because he is a person with a tough personality and a little touch of madness, he joins very well with the gentle personality of Carter. At the beginning he was kind of miser but when the story develops he changes his way of seeing life using his money to accomplish their bucket list.
Edward is also really funny and he tries to make Carter do things he is not used to do. Sometimes when Carter fells down he comforts him and vice viversa.
Also I think I identify myself with Edward because its played by Jack Nicholson which is one of my favorite actors because of his expressiveness and emotion.
The context of the movie encloses a very important meaningful message. The importance of life, family, friendship and happiness.
It does not matter your age or social condition because everyone makes life the way they want and everyone is going to die some day.
Making happy friends and family is the only way in order to achieve real happiness
