The Bucket List (María de los Ángeles Ortiz)

This is a very touching movie because of the topic: life and death. The message of the story is about enjoying life, doing the things that we want while we have the chance and fix the outstanding issues with people that we love; and how a person or an action, can change your way of thinking and seeing life.

The final scene was so unexpected. I already saw the death coming from one of the two. I didn’t think that They were going to do everything planned, but they found the best way to do it.

The whole plot of the movie was very well thought: the actors, the stages, the dialogs, the music …

But the best part is that contrast between life and death, sadness, anger and happiness, and how friendship and love are kept for any situation.

I feel identified with Carter’s character. He tries to see the positive side of the things while considering reality. He also is aware that to be happy, We don’t need things or money, but just the desire and people who love us; and we shouldn’t ever miss that good friend who is with us through thick and thin until the last moment.
