Great Gatsby (by Pedro Vega)

For me the film was very interesting and also proved to be different from the book because i was reading some highlights and hast changed the look of the characters.

Summary
The Great Gatsby follows the footsteps of Nick Carraway, a man who aspires to be a writer, leaves the central region of the U.S. and arrives in New York. Chasing his own American Dream, Nick ends up being a neighbor of Jay Gatsby, a millionaire mysterious continually gives parties. Nick enters the captivating world of the super rich with their illusions, loves and deceits. As Nick bears witness to that, both inside and outside the world he inhabits, write a story of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and big tragedies, and raises a mirror to our own time and current struggles.

Jay Gatsby

Jimmy Gatz died when Cody was rowing the boat, and a man was born, Jay Gatsby. This character invented by himself, is too much to be true, and, as with Nick, we generated some skepticism at first. When we know, Jay Gatsby is a man with lots of money, many acquaintances and few friends, the rumors circulating around it make it look like a kind of superhero or super villain.

Daisy, like Gatsby, is a dreamer. One thing they share is their idealized image of the first relationship, and this view pink makes everything in this look dull and flat. Daisy sees the past in a melancholic and cynical at the same time. While Daisy recognizes that the pressure of society are forces to be taken into account, also longs for the innocent period of his "white children", before being forced to marry Tom. Although this is Daisy realized that very often the dreams do not come true, still clings to the hope that sometimes yes.
