The person I admire for his E.I. (María de los Ángeles Ortiz)

As soon as we grow, we look for people to be role models in our lives, someone to look up to and to follow his/her example. Many people admire famous people, but I want to talk about  someone who I know well, and know how He handle his emotions.
The person I admire most is, like most of my classmates, my dad. He is a great example to me and many other people. I admire him because of his morals, his solidary though, for all the obstacles He had to overcome and then move on, and for the things he had taught me in my life.
He always cares about other people, He thinks more about others than himself, He always do favors without expecting anything, He  likes to share what He has and what He knows.
I've seen him in difficult situations, and He has always been able to have control. It is one of its greatest virtues, which personally I can’t  handle yet at all, but I try. He does not yields to provocations, He prefers to avoid fights even He knew He could win them. Despite experienced many hard situations, I have never seen him beaten, maybe just bent, but He always recovers and goes back to be himself. He did not let me see him sad, angry or worried, because the time we spent together, we prefer to enjoy it and have fun. He does not like to see me or others sad or worried, when that happens, he always finds a way to make me / us feel better or make me / us see where we are wrong.
I think he already found that middle point where you think with the reason and with the heart, as one. Which makes me think that he always knows what to do and what to say. He taught me that I don’t need any  foreign element to be happy, because happiness is not a feeling, it is a decision; which does not depend on the amount of money you have, the size you measure, and much less if it's another person.

But what I admire and appreciate most about him is his appreciation for life, He shows me that no matter what happens to us, if it’s  good or bad, we always have to move forward and staring up; every time we fall, we have to get up.
He's my hero♡

  1. (Mateo Erazo): I think your dad is awesome! The way he does things not expecting nothing for exchange is something to admire, I'm pretty sure you are a great person because you have a great father
