Homework: “Emotional Intelligence”
I admire my grandmother for their emotional
intelligence. Her name is Lola, she can
used her emotional intelligence to influence of the action of the family. I
remember went I was a child I had a fever. My parents want to take me a doctor
but I had fear. My grandmothers spoke with my parents and influence them to not
take me to the doctor and proposed to give me a natural medicine because i hate
the pinprick. This doctor gave me some plants to my fever and everything was
all right.
I remember one day two of my uncles fighting for
money. This situation was becoming a big problem. My grandmother decided talk
to them. One of them said the money was his, and the other said the same. Lola
spoken with them and reminded the family and his values. End of day my uncles
were reconciled and divided the money, half and half. My grandmother was very
happy and to celebrate organized a big family party. I remember that party
because all the family was happy. I think the best value that has taught my
grandmother is the reconciliation.
On one occasion two of my cousins were fighting for a
toy. My grandmother tried convinced but they were still discussing. Both had
seven years old. Unable to convince them, decided to use another method. Force
my cousins to doing a hundred push-ups. At the end of the day they were so
tired they fell asleep and when they awoke they forgot the toy and the problem.
My grandmother once again uses their emotional intelligence. I admire my
grandmother for their teachings.
My grandmother does not have a college degree, she
only finished school. Lola does not write scientific articles. Lola will not be
the next Nobel Prize but she's the smartest person I talk. Only she can fix
problems without violence, she is a very wise woman. I love my grandmother and
the day she dies the world will be a little sad.
My grandmother was my inspiration, they taught me to
love God, family and self. That being loving, kind and genteel made you strong,
not weak. They taught me to hold my head up high but not be prideful. My
grandmothers taught me to be a person and to love my family.
(Jazmín Aguagallo): Your grandmother is a wonderful person!! I think the world needs humans with "emotional inteligence" that help to live in harmony and without violence. Your grandmother won´t win the Nobel Prize, but have more than that, she has a family that love her :)
ReplyDeleteI love the way you talk about your grandmother, the way you describe her makes me easy to picture her smile. I think that the most important thing is to have a pure soul and your grandmother has one. It is very important to learn how to forgive, she has thaught some of the greatest things.
ReplyDelete(María de los Ángeles Ortiz):She sounds really wise and kind. I'm sure that everyone who know her, are fascinated for her and love her so much. She seems like the kind of person which you think about and suddenly you are smiling without notice it.
